We found this neat Edwardian hotel in the highest village on Exmoor. The bedrooms were a wonderful surprise: contemporary immaculately presented without a trace of chintz or clutter. Rosi and Frank, the owners, are great characters who have created a very special and unique place to stay: no blaring televisions, an honesty bar, and some seriously good food is served here. The whole place is full of character: crackling log fires in the colder seasons, imaginative unfussy but astonishingly good food, a warm friendly hospitable & welcoming atmosphere. It's a refreshingly different place to stay. We are certain that if you, like us, appreciate individuality, you will just adore Exmoor House.
